Annika Liiv completed her Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Oral Health at the University of Queensland in 2004. Since graduation she has gained further experience working as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist in both private and government settings.

With particular interest in children's dentistry and a commitment to providing gentle and comprehensive care to her patients, Annika continues to build her knowledge through her membership in professional ongoing-study groups and attendance at continuing education seminars.

Although she has a heritage from Estonia, Annika has lived in Brisbane all her life. She has travelled extensively and has spent time visiting relatives in Latvia and Estonia. She was a exchange student in Germany and enjoys shopping and dining in Singapore. In her spare time she likes to socialise with family and friends, play tennis and to read and cook.
